Secure Transactions
All sensitive transactions, such as login or updating your credit card information, are done over a secure HTTPS connection using a 256-bit SSL certificate. You can verify the validity of our SSL certificate at any time using your browsers SSL information page (usually accessed by clicking on the small lock icon).
Billing Information
All credit card transactions are processed using the same high level of secure encryption that you expect from your bank. We use the Chargify system to handle the recurring billing through our merchant account and all such transactions are also done using secure network connections. Neither World Flight Planner nor Chargify store any information associated with your credit card. However, in order to process your credit card for the recurring charge (monthly or yearly), your credit card information is stored by our PCI compliant merchant account provider.
