The Canadian World Flight Planner database includes all registered airports, published navigation aids and all Class C, D, E and F airspace. Airports include all data required for flight planning, including METAR, TAF and upper winds. If weather data is not available at an airport, the system automatically returns the data from the nearest airport.

In Canada the Designated Airspace Handbook (DAH) is published every 56 days. That means that every two months any airspace that you are familiar with may have, in fact, changed in some manner. World Flight Planner allows you to easily see a birds eye view of the current airspace as specified in the DAH, ensuring that you always know what airspace you might be flying into or flying nearby along your route.

Preflight planning cannot be considered complete without a proper look at the weather and World Flight Planner makes it easy to include the weather when flight planning. METAR and TAF information are displayed when viewing any airport, or if an airport doesn't have METAR/TAF on site (such as smaller, low traffic airports), then the METAR and TAF from the nearest airport are displayed to help give you a picture of the weather in the area. If there are any active AIRMET or SIGMET along your intended route (or in the vicinity) you'll easily be able to see the affected area and read the details. There may also be numerous PIREP along your route which will also be displayed in the appropriate location on the route map, allowing you to find out what conditions are like from other pilots.

World Flight Planner also gives you access to other important flight planning information, such as NOTAM, route MOCA (on and off airways) or terrain elevation en route, and all within a quick click of a button.
