Product Tour: Navigation

Whether your routes are direct or via airways, navigation is made easy.
Take the Guesswork Out of Navigation
Once you know where you're going, you need to figure out how you're going to get there and World Flight Planner helps you do that.
With the easy-to-read navigation log, you'll know well in advance which heading to turn to next, the estimated time over each fix and your groundspeed. The descent profile allows you to know exactly when to start your descent so you arrive at your target altitude at your destination.
The running "fuel used" total allows you to quickly calculate your fuel remaining as well has how much you need to complete your trip. In addition, the application generates a fuel log outlining the fuel required for the various stages of flight.
Complete List of Airports and Navaids
The database behind the World Flight Planner application contains a complete list of airports, navigations aids, intersections, reporting points, airways and airspace for all of the countries we currently support. So unlike most other flight planners, you can plan a flight between any registered airport not just the major ones. And you can use any other airports or navaids along the way, no matter how small or how remote.
If you want to fly between unregistered aerodromes, such as grass strips or lakes, or you want to use local landmarks for navigation, World Flight Planner makes it easy. Simply add the aerodrome or landmark to your personal list of waypoints then use them in your routes.
Export to Portable GPS
If you own a portable GPS device, now you only have to enter in your routes in one place: World Flight Planner. Once a route is created, you can easily export the route to a special file that can be imported by most modern portable GPS devices.
